Welcome to our Behold Family! I’m so grateful you’re here. Behold began as a response to a profound encounter with beauty in my own life. Since its inception, I’ve been constantly in awe of God’s goodness and His call to this work.

A decade ago, I entered religious life—a journey I had considered for half my life. At 20 years old, I moved to Nashville, Tennessee, to pursue what I deeply felt the Lord was asking of me. It was an incredible gift, allowing me to experience the beauty of that vocation. However, just a few months into my time there, I began to sense that God might be gently calling me back into the world. Initially, I resisted this idea; my identity had become so deeply intertwined with my discernment of religious life. But as I journeyed through that discernment, God revealed parts of my heart that had clung to false identities as I sought love. He showed me that my true worth came not from what I did but from being His daughter.

After much prayer and with a heart full of love for my community, I decided to step away from religious life, guided by God. In that challenging season, where I had only Him to hold onto, I found solace in praying with art. As I grew closer to Him and experienced deep healing, I felt compelled to invite others to this same journey. So, in the winter of 2016, I led a 5-week program with 15 women on praying with art. Together, we shared prayer, fellowship, and reflections on Mary’s feminine genius. Most importantly, we brought Christ into each other’s lives. This program changed us all, and I knew then that I couldn’t keep this experience to myself—God was moving.

From that point on, He brought the right people and projects together to shape this ministry. Since then, we’ve published over seven books and continue to create new ways to build this community. I am profoundly grateful for how Jesus has woven His story into mine. To me, Behold embodies the hope of the Resurrection following the Cross. I pray that this community brings you joy, peace, friendship, healing, and a closer walk with Christ.
