Kaylor Nordhus

I believe in the power of beauty to heal the human heart and awaken the world to the living God. I am a Wichita-native missionary artist specializing in the mediums of calligraphy, watercolor, and writing, while also leveraging my experience of 6 years in relational ministry and evangelical accompaniment. I believe art and mission are deeply intertwined in this apostolic age, and that the human heart is made for union with Beauty himself, Jesus Christ. I graduated from Kansas State University in 2020, and served with FOCUS as a campus missionary from 2020-2024. I am launching a new “Mission of Beauty” in Wichita, KS where I aim to proclaim the gospel through beauty: through independent studio practice; discipling and accompanying people in my environment; and working in local schools.
